You also see people write it syɛfan and shɛfan. I prefer the Jula form sisɛfan since that’s the “fuller” form

Is it more common to use one of the compound nouns than “fan” itself? I remember Dramane corrected me often when I only used “fan” alone like I would in English (“egg”).
