Ohhhhh! Haha! In that case, I take my correction back :wink:

But normally it would be sɛfanw as one word – funny how the word boundary issue threw me totally off here. Hakɛto b’à la! :slight_smile:

You also see people write it syɛfan and shɛfan. I prefer the Jula form sisɛfan since that’s the “fuller” form :upside_down_face:

Is it more common to use one of the compound nouns than “fan” itself? I remember Dramane corrected me often when I only used “fan” alone like I would in English (“egg”).
