Answer

It’s a labor day (May 1) post!

Bi ye lonba ye
Today is a big day

An ya foli bɛ baarakɛlaw bɛɛ ye
We salute all the workers

  • You can arguably just write baarakɛla bɛɛ. Writing it baarakɛlaw bɛɛ is possible, but it makes it definite; as in, “all the workers” instead of “all workers”.

Allah ye baraka don á ya sɔrɔw la
May God put power into your all’s earnings

  • The spelling Allah is calqued from Arabic. Writing it Ala is more standard in Bambara/Jula.

Kunadiya ni kɛnɛya, Allah ye o di á ma
Luck and health, may God give it to you all

  • The word kunadiya is spelled with two Ns (e.g., kunnadiya or kunnandiya)

Mandenkan kanubagaw, an b’a fo !!!
Lovers of Mandenkan, we salute you all !!!

  • The phrase “Mandenkan kanubagaw” could arguably be written as one compound word: “Mandenkankanubagaw”.

I ni baara, @malikdiallo !
