Latilen | correct

Today, I ran into the verb k’à latilen being used to say the equivalent of “to correct sth.”

The context was someone responding to me offering some corrections on the spelling of some Bambara language words found in a tweet from the British Ambassador to Mali:

I ni ce. I ye filiw latilen.

‘Thanks. You corrected the mistakes.’

This meaning is captured in Bamadaba too.
