I heard " kunadiya" or something similar in an Oumou Sangare song. Is it something like: kun na diya, like an expression for joy ?

I think that you are looking for kunnadiya (sometimes spelled kunnandiya). It’s in the dictionary 
It’s generally translated as “luck” (in the positive sense of “good luck”), but the exact rendering in English depends, as always, on the context!
