The Forum has a new “rich text editor” mode, which is makes writing easier and more similar to what you might expect with other software tools like GoogleDocs, etc.
Basically, a rich text composer lets you format your post visually using buttons (like bold or italics), so what you see is what you get—no need to learn special codes.
Here’s how to turn it on.

Open the composer (like you were going to post a topic or write reply)

Click the “markdown/rich text” toggle in the toolbar

If see a little “A”, then you are in “rich text mode”
TIP: You can also toggle between the two modes on desktop by using “
control
m
" as a shortcut.
REMINDER: When you are mobile, you may not care about seeing the toolbar. You can hide it by clicking on the hamburger menu like this:
