Aw ni ce! How do you go about studying or practicing Bambara/Jula in your day-to-day life?
NOTE: I made this category and this post because I saw another language learning Forum that had a “Study Logs” category and it seemed cool. In their category, people would make their own topics/thread for their study log (e.g., “Coleman’s Study Log”). Let me know what you think
Do you have any habits, routines, or systems that work well for you?
Maybe you like writing notes out by hand in a special notebook. Maybe you like using flashcards on your phone. Or maybe something else entirely!
I don’t have a good routine for studying on my own these days, but in the past, one of my favorite ways to practice was to take a news article I found online, put it onto my tablet, and manually mark it up as if it were a printed page. Like this:
I have a small paper notebook in which write down vocab from class and the most important grammar points. I try to go back to these notes regularly to integrate them, so I have it on me most of the time.
I also have a second larger notebook in which I have written out the gramamr of all the video classes that I have taken so far.
Finally I also use flashcards on my phome to learn new formalised vocabulary from class.
I have differents notebooks from the beginning. I write all the grammar points, and all the new words with translation.
Every language on different colour (sometimes I mix spanish, english, french and bambara)
