Bambara in Back Outside - BNXN

So recently, the Nigerian musician BNXN dropped a single that interpolates the song “Neye Mounke Allah La” by Amadou & Mariam. Obviously Bambara is not really a widely spoken language in Nigeria so there are some pretty tentative transcriptions and translations going around online, I just wanted to see if anyone had any idea as to what they’re saying in the song?

Ah! :tada: I ni ce  Actually someone messaged me about this and I did a little work on it (with some help from the person’s collaborators). Here’s where I got (though I’m not 100% convinced for the parts marked in [[double brackets]]):

Ko ne m’à dɔn à dun bɛna kɛ tan de
[[Mɔgɔ don]]
Jaa duniyako [[ye mɔgɔlafilila ye]]
N ma o dɔn

I didn’t know that it would be like this
[[It’s mankind]]
But life [[is a deceiver of mankind]]
I didn’t know

Curious if others have more insight
