Tailor

In my experience people generally use the French loanword tailleur-cɛ (tailor-man) orally to speak of tailors, but one also does find the word kalalikɛla in texts.

Here’s an example from the Bambara Reference corpus:

muso ye kɔɔri parata , gesedala ye o gese da k’o kɛ fini ye . fini dira kalalikɛla ma ; o fini de filɛ e kanna nin ye

‘A woman spun the cotton, a weaver weaved the threads and made them into a cloth. This cloth was given to the tailor; and this is the cloth you are wearing!’
